BitterDC’s Swampy Awards

First Annual Political Awards Recognize Achievement in Washington, DC Political Life

Washington, DC (March 8, 2017) – His Excellency Sergey Kislyak, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the United States of America has been nominated for the Most Valuable P(l)ayer Swampy Award for 2017.

The description of the Most Valuable P(l)ayer Award is “Why achieve real things, when you can just pay somebody to give them to you?”

Co-founder and spokesperson Julie Germany said, “We are honored that a member of the Beltway political community nominated the work of his Excellency Sergey Kislyak, Ambassador of the Russian Federation, for this award. This nomination is a testament to his networking ability–which is outstanding and enviable–and to the savvy of our political community. Game recognizes game.”

Ambassador Kislyak has recently been in the news for a series of meetings with political thought leaders, candidates, and elected officials leading up to the 2016 Presidential Election.
